Pancakes
What kind of camping we're doing, depends on what kind of pancakes we bring.

We repackage our maple syrup by pouring it into a mason jar, and bring it in the cooler. This way, we can pick a mason jar that fits our needs on the trip. I really try to come home without a lot of food left over, so this helps us customize it to our needs.

We find spreadable butter works best while camping. It's less messy, and it's spreadable right out of the cooler!
Need a quick mix and don't have extra cooler space.
-
Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix.
-
This mix only requires milk, so it's great when you don't have a lot of cooler space.
-
We have premeasured it out and put it in storage bags to make things even easier.
-
We've also used powder milk with this recipe. This is nice when we don't want to use our drinking milk for pancakes and we don't have cooler space to bring more.

Need a quick mix and but have some extra cooler space.
-
Premix pancake mixture and store in pourable container
-
We have done this before and stored it in the cooler. It makes breakfast very quick, and less messy.
-
We've used the Rubbermaid Quart Servin' Saver Bottle and it works well.
-
This is also great if you plan on having pancakes more then one day, you don't have to mix, and wash those extra dishes when making the mixture.
-
Downside is the extra cooler space needed.
-

Don't have time limitations and have cooler space.
-
Premix dry ingredients in individual storage bags by day and bring required wet ingredients.
-
We tend to do this if we have several days at a state park, especially if we are camping with another family.
-
It takes more time, but they really are the best.
-
Just pick your favorite at home recipe.
